Delete your account
Deletion removes your account, conversations, memories, shared links and the rooms you own, including their contents. It also removes your friendships and membership of other people's rooms. Messages you sent in rooms owned by others remain there without your name. Deletion is permanent. Download your data first if you want a copy.
If you have a subscription, use Manage billing to cancel it before deleting your account. Deletion becomes available once the subscription ends. Billing records are retained where required.

Verify your email to use $1 USD of free trial usage. The trial ends after 14 days from account creation, $1 of usage or 25,000 requests, whichever comes first, with room for five stored assets. No card is required. A paid plan starts only when you subscribe through checkout.

Where your data lives
In Elara's own store, under your email address. Your conversations and memories are private to you and are never used to train a model. The responsible party under POPIA is Elara-Cortex Mathematical Infrastructure for Complex Systems (Pty) Ltd (Johannesburg, CIPC Enterprise Number 2026/492586/07); under GDPR and CCPA it is Elara-Cortex Mathematical Infrastructure for Complex Systems, Inc. (Jersey City, New Jersey). Read the privacy policy.
Who can see it
Your private conversations are restricted to your account; room messages are visible to room members. The model provider receives the context needed to answer you. Staff access is limited to legal, safety or abuse matters and support you request. The data page explains storage and sharing.

Security reporting

Sign-in protection
Sign in with your email and password. Passwords are hashed; the original is never stored. Sessions expire after seven days, and you can sign out any other device here. Two-step sign-in and passkeys are not currently available.
